This online catalogue was created in partnership with the Society for the Museum of Original Costume. Jasmine Moore and Lauren Waschuk were a huge part of the data creation. I created the content management system and user interface with Omeka, an open-source content management system. The system has a public face, which displays certain fields of the catalogue, and an administrator view, that displays all fields. The system has a full-text search implemented, but also has a tag-system and linked metadata where the vocabularies are controlled. The Virtual Museum serves as the organization's catalogue for administrative purposes, as well as a virtual space for public interaction with the collection.
While working at NVDPL, I created displays, pamphlets and other visual materials to support, inspire and guide our patrons.
I created this simple site for the UBC chapter of the Progressive Librarians' Guild, of which I founded the latest incarnation in early 2015. The group is devoted to encouraging discussion of alternative perspectives at SLAIS and in the field. The site includes a password-protected forum for discussion. I also created event material, such as the poster below:
I created this simple site for the UBC chapter of the ARLISNAP (Art Library Students & New ARLIS Professionals) group, which also represents the official northwest chapter of ARLIS-NA. I was involved with the founding of this group, under the original name AMALA (Art and Music Archivists and Librarian Association) in October 2014.
